Picture Wednesday – Spring Greens

It’s great to come across sculptures while walking on the streets of London. They’re like little discoveries. This one cheered me up on a stressful, rainy day not long ago. It simply reminded me of the charity Easter Egg Hunt events in previous years, as well as the fact that spring is coming soon.

I saw it next to Spitalfields Market, close to where Jack the Ripper used to prey. It’s called Spring Greens, and was commissioned to Julian Wild.

Thanks for taking a look. Hope you liked it and come back soon!

  1. Interesting bit of green, indeed. I am desperate to see green these days. No more white please.
