Street Art in London 2

After my last street art walk in London, I felt that it was worth paying another visit to that areaStreet Art in London 2. So I went back to Brick Lane/ Hoxton and uncovered a few more art pieces. It was an enjoyable afternoon/ evening. Here are some of the pics that I took.

It will only take you a few minutes of your time to visit a few hidden and not-so-hidden pockets of London. Fancy visiting?

One of the aspects of street art is its dynamism. One day, you can see a dull wall, the next you can see a great graffiti which may even have been specially commissioned. This one gives this little square a bit more of interest.

This is on the trendy Hoxton area. The second set was taken where a bar used to be, a former favourite in the area I think.

Next to the second set above, we see another art piece by Roa! Remember the crane, the hedgehog and the squirrel?

Once in Brick Lane, some designs keep cropping up:

There are art pieces everywhere:

Variety is an aspect of street art:

Snobism in the arts is not new:

Some sculptures are quite new to me. These are hanging on walls in different places, some of them are more new than others:

London is just exploding with great street art. Another extraordinary post! I have to come back to London. Forget the British Museum and the Tate Modern. It is happening in the Streets!

These are amazing! I’d like to get on a plane to Britain just to walk around and look at these. I think (today) my favourites are the first one and the last one (not the musician although I agree he is an artist as well). The two women’s faces are striking and I am fascinated by them. However, like I said…today. Tomorrow I may like one of the more campy ones best. 😉
