Cooking in London – Any Secret Recipes?

How often do we actually cook in London? I find it can be really easy to be out and about every day of the week, which can erase the pleasure of cooking.

After a few days partying and eating out, we all need a night in. Cooking is one of my favourite hobbies. It is one of my secret pleasures. I love cooking the usual things, as well as some unusual dishes. Making it fun and different can be so much more interesting. Take a look at Jamie Oliver and all the TV chefs. They all tend to cook dishes that can be appealing for their audience, even if they are not the usuals.

Using a ‘secret ingredient’ can be interesting too. References to unusual recipes or variations of recipes are everywhere on the net.

Have you got any unusual recipes or any variations?

One of my fave, not-so-secret recipes is veggie lasagne. I use grilled aubergine instead of the normal pasta sheets, and mix some tomato sauce with some yogourt to make it lighter before stirring some veggies in it and building the actual lasagne.

Bon appétit!
